Our Story

Studio M is the creative collaboration of two longtime friends from different walks of life, brought together by a quest for beauty. Coming from an extensive creative background and salon experience in Rome, Boston and Miami, Olsi’s dream was to open his own salon in Miami. Together with his friend and business partner Angie Mahy, the dream has become a reality.
Olsi Mile, a native of Rome, Italy, started his career at Vidal Sassoon in Rome in 1996, then moving to Boston, Massachusetts as the co-owner and manager of a salon until 2007, when he moved to Miami. Since then, he has become a Master Stylist at the Regis Company, reached Elite Status at Ulta and became an educator for Aveda.
Angie Mahy had a 25 year career in the Child Welfare arena, working 14 years for DCF as a Program Specialist for Protective Investigations and Operations Manager for the Legal Department. In 2005, she became the Program Administrator for the Center for Family and Child Enrichment, a private Child Welfare agency in Miami Dade County overseeing the Court Unit and supervising the cases of up to 1000 children in the foster care system. In December of 2014, she retired and began searching for a new venture.
Olsi and Angie started dreaming of a salon with the concept of catering to all aspects of beauty and wellness. A place where you just don’t come in for a quick haircut and rush out. Instead, when you come in for a service, you get a total sensory experience – the Studio M experience. When you walk into our salon, for any service, we take care of the total person. A haircut includes a Thai conditioning treatment for the scalp as well as a “mini-facial” meant to relax you; a Mani/Pedi includes the use of Florida Salt Scrubs to take care of the skin; from skin care to eyebrow threading – we provide you with a glass of wine, Champagne or a Mimosa.
At Studio M we are a full service salon for a Total Mind & Body experience.

Cancellation Policy

  • Since all appointments are reserved for you, we ask that you guarantee all chemical service bookings using a credit card or a cash deposit of 50% of your scheduled service. We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. In the event that you have to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we require that you notify us 24 hours in advance. If we do not receive this notification, you will be charged 50% of the cost of the scheduled appointment. Please understand that our stylists work on commision and any last minute cancellations will impact their earnings for the day.

Day of Appointment

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you receive your full service. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment.
